Motorcycle Parking

  • Motorcycles, scooters, or mopeds parked on USC property must also display a valid USC permit/pass while parked.

  • Your permit must be affixed to a visible part of the bike that can be seen by our officers. It may be placed on the fender, spoke etc.

  • Such vehicles must park in designated 2-wheeled vehicle parking zones only. Visit our office for more details and location.

  • Such vehicles must adhere to all standard permit usage guidelines.

  • You must park in your assigned locations(properly displaying your valid permit) from 7am-5pm weekdays.

  • Parking area FULL. If you find that the designated areas are full, please return to the nearest gate entrance and our Customer Service Representative will assist you.

  • You cannot park in any spaces or areas that are posted with restrictions(i.e. Reserved, Carpool, Meters, Disabled, Yellow zones etc) at anytime unless your permit is assigned to that location/space.

  • You cannot park in any off campus Housing lots at anytime, unless you have a specific permit for that off-campus location. See Definitions.

  • Your permit is not transferable. You cannot remove the permit and place it on another car temporarily or otherwise. If your vehicle becomes temporarily inoperable, placed in the shop for repairs or reported stolen, you will need to request a Temporary Permit.

  • During Special Events that may occur at night or on weekends, parking is provided on a first-come first-serve basis. You are not guaranteed a space in the lot you are assigned to during the weekdays. You will be allowed to park where space is available.

  • All permits are the property of USC. All parking permits must be purchased from Transportation Services. Permits may not be exchanged from customer to another and may not be resold. Parking is assumed at owner’s risk.

  • If you sell your vehicle or you no longer need your parking permit, return your parking permit to qualify for an even exchange or a prorated refund. Failure to comply may result in a $100 lost permit fee. Please present documentation to release ownership liability at Transportation Services.
