Evening Permits

  • Evening Permits now valid at any non-reserved lot to include PSA, PSB, PSD, PSX and our open surface lots, i.e. Lot 6, Lot V, etc., ONLY from 5pm to 7am, 7 days a week, including Holidays. Evening Permit rates subject to change in early 2006.

  • Evening Permits are not valid in any off campus Housing lots at anytime, unless you have a specific permit for that off-campus location. See Definitions.

  • Evening Permits are not valid in any spaces or areas that are posted with restrictions(i.e. Reserved, Carpool, Meters, Disabled, Yellow zones etc) at anytime unless your permit is assigned to that location/space.

  • All permits are the property of USC. All parking permits must be purchased from Transportation Services. Permits may not be exchanged from customer to another and may not be resold. Parking is assumed at owner’s risk.

  • If you sell your vehicle or you no longer need your parking permit, return your parking permit to qualify for an even exchange or a prorated refund. Failure to comply may result in a $100 lost permit fee. Please present documentation to release ownership liability at Transportation Services.

  • If you are issued a Transferable Hanging Permit, it must be hung from your rear-view mirror with the front of the permit facing towards the windshield at all times. Failing to hang your permit each time will subject your vehicle to a citation for No Valid Permit Displayed. We highly suggest that when exiting your vehicle, you look back to ensure your permit is hanging and didn’t fall off when closing the door. Please do not place the permits on your dashboard or seat. Doing so is in violation and could result in a citation for Improper Permit Display.

  • If you are issued a Window Sticking Permit, it must be completely affixed to the front windshield in the lower left-hand corner(driver’s side) solely by the adhesive on the permit issued. No tape or plastic can be attached to this permit at anytime. These permits cannot be affixed upside down or taped to any other area on the windshield.

  • Your permit is not transferable. You cannot remove the permit and place it on another car temporarily or otherwise. If your vehicle becomes temporarily inoperable, placed in the shop for repairs or reported stolen, you will need to request a Temporary Permit.
