| What is a carpool? |
| The basic carpool consists of University staff, faculty or students sharing a ride together in a vehicle. This involves two to four co-workers or students from the same community driving together, rather than commuting in their individual cars. |

| I don't have a car. Can I still carpool? |
| Yes, it is possible to carpool even if you don't have a car of your own; you simply contribute toward gas and other expenses instead of providing a vehicle. |

- Photocopies of current registration and insurance for any vehicles that will be used in the carpool. Both items must have the expiration dates printed on them.
- Photocopies of USC IDs for each member of the carpool
- Proof of residency for each person in the carpool. (i.e. current utility statement, bank or credit card statement.

| How much does it cost to carpool? |
| The cost of carpool permits is $247.50/semester, or $55.00/month, which includes the 10% LA city tax. This is split among all members of the carpool. |

| Can I deduct carpool fees from my tax return? |
