Terms Of Use

Student Academic Year Permits

Student permits are valid for both the fall and spring terms. The charge for the spring term will be automatically billed to your student financial account.

 

The following are the "Terms of Use” that govern use of the USCTransportation Site. By using or visiting the site, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and to follow these Terms and all PARKING RULES & REGULATIONS of the University of Southern California.

USCTransportation does not promise that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor that it will provide specific results from use of the site or any content, search or link on it. The site and its content are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

Permitted Use

You agree that you are only authorized to visit and to review your customer account information, or to purchase a permit for your personal use.

Permit Purchase Policy

Below is an overview of our purchase policy. You may also see our rules and regulations.

  • Permits are not transferable to another party and are valid only on the vehicle to which it is linked.
  • Please allow at least four business days for the delivery of your order.
  • Orders designated for “pick-up” will be immediately available at your campus’s USCTransportation sales office.
  • When you receive your permit, please properly display your permit according to the Parking Rules and Regulations.
  • It shall be the customer’s responsibility to collect any order with a delivery status of “pick-up”. No refunds, credits or adjustments in price will be provided for orders not picked–up prior to the selected start date of the permit.
  • All commuter permit prices include the 10% L.A. occupancy tax.
  • All online permit purchase includes a non-refundable $10.00 processing fee.
  • To prevent the spring term charge you must cancel your permit by returning it before January 1st.
  • You must report lost or stolen permits promptly. There is a fee of $100 for each lost or missing permit. Treat parking permits as you would cash.
  • Eligibility for all off campus residential permits requires proof of residency for the location requested.
  • Changes in enrollment or study abroad status will not automatically result in the cancelation your permit.
  • Any vehicle parked, operated or driven on campus shall be solely at the risk of the owner and operator.
  • Acceptance of parking privileges (access devise, hang-tag, faculty sticker, etc.) constitutes an agreement between the holder and the university that the university shall not be responsible for the loss or damage to the vehicle, its accessories or contents, resulting from theft, fire, vandalism, collision or any other cause.

I understand that failure to do so may result in the issuance of citations, forfeiture of my parking privileges, immobilization and/or impoundment of my vehicle(s).

USCTransportation reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Please check this page periodically.
