The Spring 2026 U-Pass program application process is now fully automated, and available online at the U-Pass form<\/a>! Once the form is completed, students will receive a system-generated email confirming their information was received, and directing them to the final steps to complete the process.<\/h3>\n

GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION<\/h4>\n

USC Transportation partners with LA Metro to offer the U-Pass program every semester \u2014 it is available to\u00a0ALL<\/strong>\u00a0current USC students (both Graduate students and Undergraduates), and is available at no additional cost (the cost of the program is included in the Transportation Fee being charged to all registered students at USC).<\/p>\n

The U-Pass allows USC students unlimited rides on LA Metro\u2019s rail and bus lines for any given semester. You\u00a0DO<\/strong>\u00a0have to re-register every semester in which you want one, but you\u00a0DO NOT<\/strong>\u00a0need a new card every time \u2013 if you\u00a0already have<\/strong> a U-Pass issued by our office from a previous semester, you should choose the \u201cRENEWAL\u201d option during the purchasing process. If you have lost your card<\/strong>, you need to get a new one from our office in the McCarthy Structure at UPC during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30-3:00), and then return to this site to activate it.<\/p>\n

Once you submit your U-Pass application, you will immediately receive an automated email confirming the next steps you need to follow to activate your pass for Spring 2026.<\/h4>\n
