The focus of USC Transportation’s Bike Program is to connect you to bike resources near campus and give you the easiest path to a great biking experience! USC is surrounded by LA County Bike Paths that connect our campus to various parts of Los Angeles. Click here to see a map of the Bike Paths that surround campus, so you can plan your commute or your next adventure. See below for more Bike Information and Resources.
METRO BIKE SHARE
A Metro Bike Share Pass gives you access to a bicycle, which you can rent from the Metro Bike Share stations near campus and ride to all the parts of Los Angeles that have Metro Bike Share Stations. There are at least four Metro Bike Share stations around the University Park Campus (Expo & Vermont, Figueroa & McCarthy, Jefferson & Figueroa, and University & Hoover). In order to use Metro Bike Share:
- Purchase a Metro Bike Share Pass
- Employees can submit receipt of their purchase to tsubsidy@usc.edu for partial reimbursement
- Students, Seniors, and ADA can purchase a discounted pass here
- Download the Metro Bike Share App
- Find a station and use the Metro Bike Share App to unlock a Metro Bike
- Start riding! Make sure you follow all the rules of the road. Riders under 18 are required by California Law to wear a helmet
- Return your bike at a Metro Bike Share station. When docking, listen for three beeps to ensure the bike is locked properly.
