How long does travel between campuses on the intercampus shuttle take?

You should plan on approximately 20-30 minutes, although times may vary due to traffic conditions.

Can I rent a USC Shuttle?

Transportation Services contracts out shuttles for large events. This is restricted to USC departments and affiliated organizations only, $100 per hour, minimum 3 hour detail. For more information, please fill out the form.

What is the Union Station shuttle?

The Union Station shuttle runs between Union Station and both campuses. Please see the schedule for more information.

What is the Parking Center shuttle?

The Parking Center shuttle runs between the University Parking Center (Jefferson Ave. and Grand Ave.) and various locations throughout campus. See the schedule and map for more information.

How can I use the shuttle service to commute between the two USC campuses?

USC Transportation has an Intercampus shuttle between UPC and HSC. Specific schedules are available on the website.

Are passengers allowed to eat food items on the shuttle?

No, food and drinks are prohibited on the USC shuttles.

Can my friends and relatives board the shuttle?

Yes, persons who are accompanying USC students/faculty/staff can board the shuttle.  However, please note that shuttles are limited to space available.

Do I need to show my USC ID to ride the shuttle?

It is advisable to carry the USC ID on one’s person at all times, but the driver is not required to ask to see identification. Drivers may request to see ID if necessary to prove USC association prior to boarding a shuttle.

Can I flag down and board a shuttle in an area not designated as a USC Shuttle Stop?

No, the shuttles follow specific routes and passengers can only board and unboard the shuttles from a posted USC shuttle stop.

Can bikes be taken on the shuttle?

Most shuttles are equipped with bike racks.

What are the options for commuting to the USC campus?

USC Transportation offers three basic shuttle routes for North Campus students and staff members commuting to USC: Route A, Route B, and Route C. Additionally we have the Parking Center and Union Station shuttles for persons parking utilizing these services, as well as intercampus shuttle routes.
